I was thinking about a what I would tell my younger self last night.
Here’s a few things I would tell me.

1.) Nothing good happens after midnight, go home. Unless you’re up to nothing good, then stay a little longer.
2.) Get some sleep, you’re going to miss it in 10 years. ( I think this is because we are currently working on crate training a puppy. I miss solid sleep so much right now.)
3.) Start to save your money now. Why are you not investing yet? It’s for you in the future. (Put down the latte, pick up an iced coffee and put that $3.00 you saved in the bank.)

4.) Don’t stop writing. It’s what you love and it also helps you process your thoughts.
5.) Go to the dentist regularly, not just when your tooth hurts.

6.) Take a few more trips alone. Pick a city, get a room and explore. (these were some of my favorite trips pre family)
7.) That psychic in New York was right about everything except the 3 kids… Unless she meant dogs, then she was 100% Correct.

8.) Go to more Museums instead of window shopping.
9.) I know you want it, but it doesn’t fit and you aren’t going to lose that 5 lbs. Put it back.
10.) Keep your credit card debt down and your score up. You’re going to need that in the future and it takes a lot of work to fix it.
This is just a quick list of a few things I would tell my younger self. And I am sure that the list will grow and change as I get older! What are some things you would tell your younger self?
Thanks for sharing, this is a great post. I would definitely benefit from some of these tips.
Each one of these are great points !! I love the first 3 💕 https://jessierenea.com/10-bad-habits-you-need-to-stop-doing/
Really useful information to know! I’m 23 years old and think I should start applying these all to my life. Especially the nothing good happens after 12.
This was brilliant! Right off the top I chuckled.. my grandfather used to tell me something similar to number one! The dentist thing too yesss! Great post. Really got me thinking
Haha yes. Totally me. Get some sleep, I am missing it. Wish at that time I knew better. And yes save money.
As I start reading literally number 1 is the first thing I would tell 16-18 year old Chloe! xx
Oh some of these made me laugh so much!
Okay I would add for myself;
1) Stop trying to fit in so much – you’ll be happier without it
2) Invest more energy into your degree, you’re capable of more if you direct your energy to studying instead of fitting in
3) Stay working part time – going full time while you’re studying is gonna break you.
The dentist. Big facts.
I think the other thing I would tell myself is to live in the moment. I was a worrisome youngster.
Awesome post…i had a good laugh as I could relate to many here, except for one thing…sleep.
Very interesting list. So many good advice. Thank you for sharing, it’s such a cool exercise for self-reflection!
Each and every one of these is so true! I love taking trips by myself sometimes it is just nice to be alone and go to places you want to go to instead of having to go places someone else wants to go to (thats great too)
Every single one is so true, but 2, 3 and 4 spoke to me personally.
Loved it completely!! ❤
Beautifully expressed!!
I love these! I think I would definitely tell myself the same exact things! And specially to stop worrying so much about what others think!
I agree with all of this!
Awesome post with great content. Thank you for sharing!
These are great and honest! I can relate to sooo many, especially saving and putting down the expensive coffee drink! Still a struggle. Thanks for sharing!
